Watch: Highlights from the Nazare Challenge

Stu Nettle (stunet)
Swellnet Dispatch

Enjoy this dance remix of Friday's Nazare Challenge. The WSL has been slow on the draw distilling the best bits - in their defence they've announced a live stream of today's tow swell - but let's give thanks to the unknown punter on the headland with a handycam. The footage is a li'l raw but it's more than compensated with some great crowd shots, the mob cheering the best rides.

Never seen Naz really barrel like that!

Gets more and more hollow the smaller it gets.

Unreal!

Be epic to see some video from the view looking into those barreling lefts.

How's the tunes! Sounds like an episode of Miami Vice.

Another recent handicam capture of Nazare 2018 but with a more classical soundtrack.

It was so good, but be careful of the Eurobeat intensifying.

Some great footage of Nazare in barrel mode, but the background "muzak" is absolute mind- numbing shyte.

Heaps more interesting than the Sunday session. Had to use the mute, EURGH!

Finally, Nazare waves with actual walls,... who would've thought.
Some heavy, late take offs! Good viewing.

Hows about refrain from crappy music like that. Spoils the sound coz I have to watch it on mute. Great footage otherwise.

Ohh nooo!! Nazare WOTD Wednesday has a tilted angle again to make it look bigger....Stunet and Tim B up to their old tricks again..... :) Those strangely angled horizontal cloud lines in the background are a bit of a give away.
