Nearly fell asleep. Looks relaxing and fun but would get to you without a bit more push eventually. Shaping by hand? See if he still wants to do that after 2000 boards. Ask any of the old timers and I reckon they will tell you where to stick your planer.

He's game cutting out the swallows before he's shaped the board though. He'll stop doing that the first time he snaps one off after applying too much pressure with the planer or a sanding block.

I've had a lot of fun on that wave in years past and it looked super fun for a average punter like me until the panned out shot revealed the crowd - oh dear.
Cabarita was "officially endorsed" as a NSR back in Feb/2018
Australian Surf Festival Caba (Aug) but as far as I know still no dedication/Plaque.
There was talk of dedicating Cabarita NSR this summer.
North Coast Locals might share with nation their NSR dedication celebration.
Hint: Don't count on NSR being there...forget them.
