Lord knows I should've been paying more attention to the waves in this clip and how they were ridden, there are some majesterial rides to admire, but I couldn't help notice the board Adrien is riding in the first section of the film. It's a two-tone blue shortboard with Lightning Bolt decal and twin fin set up. I know it's a twinnie 'cos he snaps the thing and he's filmed walking with the broken pieces, fins in plain view.

And I flashed on the last clip of Adrien Toyon's that we ran.

Did he just break the first surfboard he ever owned? A Graham Smith Bolt he got when he was nine-years old.
