Just when it looked like FT was gonna three-peat J'Bay he hit a hurdle in the shape of top deck countryman, Italo Ferreira. That result leaves him in second spot on the CT rankings, approx. 600 points behind Kolohe Andino.
Teahupoo is the next event on the calendar, but before the conjecture begins, the forecasts, the questions about ticker, let's take one last look at J'Bay. They're an odd couple, J'Bay and Filipe, the palatial pointbreak and the hyperactive kid who somehow made his schtick fit. Not overly keen on the opening slow-mo but it's hard to fault the surfing.

Not sure about the artistic merits of that flicker....maybe we should slow it down and make sure there were no Fight Club like subliminal messages being spliced in there...."Brazil will rule the world!!!"....or maybe just "but more stuff!!!"....

Completely agree Frog. Respect to the guy in his day but is that really the legacy he wants to leave behind and be known for... King of the Poo Stance?? Show more respect to that gem of a wave.

Yeah Dekker isn't a good look, he is certainly on a journey to the latrine with that stance. Flippy is a great surfer if he can smooth out those wiggles and not throw so many Pizzas (that was borrowed from JP) he would be easier on the eye. Still being very picky.
