Mick Lowe, now that's a name I haven't heard in a while. I still have one of his Bushman guns he brought back from Hawaii ... must be over 20yrs old now, the difference in gun design from then to now is astronomical.

Me too Jamyardy,
I've still got one of his 7'6" pintail Justice/Bushman boards he rode at Pipe

$50 tickets is also astronomical.

Used to love surf movie nights at Anita's, back when they were affordable.

yeah, there's one on here at Lennox.
son wanted to go, but $50 for a ticket has priced me out of the market.

Attended Dee Why session, bands were great, some stories and footage were fantastic but it dragged out, especially an auction which was for charity so that's good, overall too expensive for the content.Lead singer of Disgraceland was an epic performer and entertainer.

Yeah, I also attended Dee Why and although it was interesting listening to Occ, TC and Jack's stories, the overall cost of the evening just wasn't really worth it for me. But that includes a ticket for my wife, baby-sitter, ubers and surprisingly expensive food and drinks for an R'ey! Dion's movie Dark Hollow was shown towards the end and we left during that. I'm sure it's very good from an artistic point of view, but was not to our taste. Bit of a shame really.
