'Girls Can't Surf' Available for Streaming or on DVD

After a ten year gestation, the documentary 'Girls Can't Surf' hit one hell of a hurdle upon release.

Just as the curtain fell, parts of the country went into lockdown with some cinemas closing and others only offering limited seating. The film became yet another lamentable victim of COVID.

Six months and one lockdown later, the film is now available on DVD and digital streaming for home viewing.

It's a great watch. Can imagine it being inspirational to lots of young women.
So good to learn a bit more about the legends who were at the top of the surfing tree when i was a grommet growing up. There's something about a woman on a wave that a man can never replicate. Just beautiful. How good's the footage of Pauline and Jody at Sunset!! Legends!! The lot of them.

Watched last night. Highly recommend. Def worth learning about what those girls went through, and just how much they loved surfing
