Tweed Coast Fundraiser: Bring It For Beau

Ben Matson (thermalben)
Swellnet Dispatch

On the 7th of April 2021, Beau Jensen, a young Tweed Heads boy was involved in an accident that has changed the path of his and his family’s life.

Beau sustained head injuries after being knocked unconscious at Snapper Rocks and as a result was transferred to the Gold Coast University Hospital and placed in a medically induced coma. He was unconscious for some time, and the extent of his brain damaged is still unknown. All that we know right now is that there is still a long road to recovery.

We want to support Beau and his family on this journey by raising funds for any medical bills and relieving the financial stress at home to allow his family to be there for him, as his mum Hope, is currently unable to work due to being Beau's full time carer - leaving Beau's dad Eric, as their sole income for their family of four.

Join us Sunday the 9th of January at the South Tweed Sports Club for a fun day of Live music, entertainment, a huge raffle and auctions. Prizes include a range of signed sports memorabilia, vouchers, clothing, and much more.

Get your tickets here.
