Set up or not, that's a good laugh and an all time get away.

Two things missing from this clip...
1. What happened to Parko Snr. after the hijacking, and
2. Mitch catching up to dolphin drop-in, grabbing it and surfing all the way to Greenmount with it under his left arm, with his board still tucked under the right.

Even I have to admit, that was pretty cool.

It was a set up - but still highly entertaining.

Clearly a set up but I liked the way he surfed it right through to the end section in Greenmount. Make Joel walk a bit further to retrieve his stick.

Sorry to disappoint all the conspiracy theorists, it wasn't a set up. I was there the whole session, Joel was swimming most of the time pushing a little fella onto a couple of inside runners, and gabbed the board with no leggie to snag a couple of waves. Mitch was absolutely shredding, best on ground by a mile, the red sled seems to go exactly where he wants it. By the way, he kept going for another 100m AFTER the vid stopped too....funny shit and a long walk back

Lucky Joel didn't have a leggie on otherwise he would have been dragged by Mitch 200m down the bank!
