Super Saturday at Jeffreys Bay saw the world’s best surfers take to the water in pumping six-to-ten foot surf and thousands of fans gathered to watch the final 12 surfers battle the waves and each other.

“I was rattled from the first exchange,” said Kelly Slater. “From Matt’s first wave it seemed like he was totally in sync. Every set he seemed to have the better waves."

“I’m stoked to be back in J-Bay,” said Kelly Slater. “I love this place and I’ve had some really special moments out here at Supertubes."

The first event of the Big Wave World Tour - the Billabong Pico Alto - has been given the greenlight as a 35-to-40 foot ocean swell descends upon South America.

A thrilling Finals day saw Brazilian Gabriel Medina reign supreme and win the Fiji Pro in three-to-five foot surf at Cloudbreak. The win moves Medina back to the top of the ASP World Championship Tour Rankings.

Semifinalists were decided today at the Fiji Pro in three-to-five foot surf at Cloudbreak. An action packed day of competition saw the field narrowed to just four of the world’s best surfers as the event ran through Rounds 3, 4 and 5 and the Quarterfinals.

The Fiji Pro ran through all of Round 2 and half of Round 3 in great three-to-five foot surf at Cloudbreak. 

The Fiji Pro got underway today and the world’s best surfers took to the water in three-to-five foot surf. The event ran through Round 1 at Cloudbreak with 12 surfers earning a fast track through to Round 3 while several top seeds were relegated to surf again in elimination Round 2.
