Tried to look up the skating equivalent definition, and holy shit! There's a tonne of different kinds of slides and grinds. I have no idea how to tell them apart at high speed.

As it was pretty centred (and you don't have trucks on a surfboard) it's a frontside slide. Blunts and others will involve whether you use the front or back trucks.
