From my perspective the skis were NOT behaving. I managed to snag a bomb on the outside only to be dropped in on by a ski. I was yelling so loud that the guy on the back decided not to step off. Too late as my one and only good wave was completely ruined by the wake.
I also have to call out JOSH KERR and ASHER PACEY for indulging in the dickheadery, doing step offs amongst paddling surfers. Anyone contemplating buying an ALBUM surfboard, I strongly urge you to think twice. I know that based on these actions alone by the ones who should be regulating and setting the example, I will NEVER spend my money with them.

The standard of surfing on the Goldie seems leaps and bounds ahead of what I saw on that Noosa vid.
There’s barely waves on the sunny coast for most of the year so unless they travel a lot, they can’t surf short boards on the reg.
There’s still plenty of rippers there, don’t get me wrong.
I’ve always been impressed with Sunny coast surfers.

When cyclone OMA was firing l caught a set wave outside big groin and had already done a bottom turn 2 top turns and was lining up with speed the oncoming barrel section when out of “ somewhere “ parko steps of a JetSki and totally burns me . This blowin ( he’s from sunny coast ) comes across as a cool dude and family man but make no mistake in the surf he’s a pure knob jockey along with another blowin cokealoopy who’s been burning everyone since arriving on the GC as a 14 yo punk

Bit hard to say anything as he gets JetSki picking him up and he’s gone , that huge barrel he’s in at snapper which is billabong billboard at kirra surf was a hell of a wave and he stepped off a JetSki to catch it , there were plenty of punters paddling that day but he must like a 50 wave quota. I figure karma will catch up with him one day. His behaviour sets the standard , in the late 70s and eighties people respected each other in the line up at kirra and pro’s like rabbit didn’t need to burn people in order to get a wave. Someone is going to get seriously injured by a JetSki then maybe things will change.

That looks like blatant arsehole behaviour. Pros like Parko get flown around to ride the best waves in the world and are still greedy enough to take waves off others.
