How's Marti's wave at 9:16... looked so perfect, then.. ouch!

Yeah, the film shows the advantages of being towed in at Shippies. As well as the usual advantage, with those steps, it’s certainly seems to help to be strapped to your board,

That last wave.......insane!

To be able to recover from THAT position and then follow it up with another 6 foot drop off the next step while you're inside a massive pit.

Surely you'd call it a day after that and just watch from the boat with a well earned 6 pack. Fuck,....they would taste like the best beers ever!

Now that is a surf vid!
For a Good Friday, I reckon if Jesus was a surfer he would have been dying to get out there. (Back on Sunday)

Freeze frame at 4.33....big fella on a big beast - great footage!!!

Enjoyed that. Those guys know the step so well. They pretty much ignore what the wave is doing down the line until the are over it and then look up and finally behold the beast.

Total psycho's. Would like to see some realtime waves also thrown in there Tim. You know, normal speed with accompanying sound, I think realtime footage really shows how bloody heavy and scary those death pits are.

Like this one from Cloudbreak, you can hear, amost feel the energy, fear and adrenaline of the moment, soooo scary.

Some great surfing but constant towing through paddlers and not on not a giant day by some cronic offenders of towing through paddlers , not sure about the Tassie guys but the WA guys are guilty of it for sure. Illegal anywhere in Australian waters and kind of a cunt act regardless, no matter how many shakas you throw while on your wave.
