Remember surfing Pedra Branca (hollow lefthander in the vicinity) with only three very drunk locals straight from a big night out. Was offshore and pumping 4ft.

Really great surf. I think it was in one of his earlier videos he said, in other surf zones you are looking for the blob that indicates incoming swell. In Portugal, we are just looking if the wind will be offshore because there is always swell. I found that different. I guess he is referring to their swell season.

If that's Portugal's best right the foreshore has changed a fair bit in the 25 years since I surfed it. Not sure showing the broader coast pan at the start is such a smart move, though. Seems Von Froth might be all about Von Froth.
