Watch: Post-COVID at the Cape

Tim Bonython rides pillion with Dyl Longbottom during last weekend's east swell at Cape Solander.

Great swell direction, early low tide, wind outta the southwest, but the size came in on the lower end of the scale. Still, the Cape is the heaviest four foot wave going, and the channel view shows great poisitiong and speed management from the crew.

I'm liking these Timmy B vids.

First day looked fun. Not really out of the realm of the average surfer.

It’s ironic that these guys all paddle, and there are “angry young locals” in the Illawarra towing in on 3-4ft rip bowls, and telling people paddling to F off. Sadly not joking guys...

Angry young locals meaning privileged white kiddies.

Yep self righteous 25yo, between them and the 55plus on SUPs it is getting out of hand...
