"That board felt like the starting point for a new life."
The inner mechanics of Russell's mind.
Sniffing out the bounty on land and at sea.
From a day with a low wave count yet high consequence.
Like a hundred social media clips joined together but not on social media.
Seeking darkness on a sunny day.
And Matahi lifts the bar yet again.
Bite size humans in king size waves.

Hilarious song choice.
So heavy. The beatings there look hideous.
Big figs. There’s only one thing manlier than these manly men. Gary G.
That one from 30sec is a fuck tonne of water, you know it's bad when it explodes out the back, brutal.
That bloke has his eject style nailed, does it twice in the vid!
Any known injuries?
No thanks....
Ouch
Gotta do it... Go for it!
100% the right thing to do!
Salute to everyone!

I reckon he was pretty much stationary at one point. I was 100% sure he was marked for the 'cooked' pile.
Hard work heaps of chop, steps, thick and hollow boys gave it a good crack no doubt. Big waves in OZ are so much sketchier and of average quality than those in indo. Never as clean or as windless, still very entertaining and certainly as heavy. How about old mate with a wetsuit cap on in 18º water....we are just about in boardies down here if it gets that warm
Deadmans... cooked?
Or....... initiated!
I'd rather watch the raw footage. Still, pretty impressive.
I wouldn't survive a single one of those waves, but..... can we get a slo-mo of penguin man at 1:45 please....
