Following on from Cape COVID Part 1 (featured last week), Part 2 showcases day two of the swell and some beautiful conditions as the cloud burns off and the waves flare open onto the shallow ledge at Cape Solander. The second half of the video is where all the action is, along with the biggest and heaviest ridden waves.

Unreal. Go hard or stay home.

How good is the background crowd vibe in the mix?!

Clean, sunny, and totally awesome wavez.

Kudos to the guys surfing that on their backhand. Looks super tough on your forehand let alone on your backhand.

Question: if you don't have a ski there, where/how do you get back into shore?

What does the reference to "East Coast Low" mean?

Craig Wednesday, 26 Aug 2020 at 10:33 am new

The type of storm that generated the swell on the East Coast.

Love watchin' Kipp Caddy at that place, so casual. Everything about surfing there would be just plain scary - not for me.
