Iso, winter in Vic, flat spells, bad winds, water at 11-12 degrees. Then you see glassy over head barrels in Bali....starting to make me feel angry looking at that stuff! This crap run of waves is turning me into a bitter old man.

This makes me feel a bit sad to watch. Sure the waves around here are fun enough. A few nice barrels. But Indo is a different realm of quality altogether. Watching these empty Indo perfection vids is like watching untouchable, sexy girls in the street then going home to an empty house and internet porn .
Oh I hear ya DubeSweet, usually I'm in the Ments 3 times a year, that's where I get my fix...and yes the waves around here are JUST ok...sometimes, maybe I'm too old and spoilt to be surfing beaches nowadays.

Been there enough times Goofy, I’m happy to leave it to them. Each time I go the development and crowds get worse. If I was in their shoes I would be stoked to have a bit of breathing space. I guess fighting crowds just isn’t my thing.

It’s telling that for all WSL’s hype, millions of dollars spent, webcasts and pro surfers, I’d rather watch a vid of some local rippers at Keramas with just the background sound of the beach to accompany it. Would be pretty epic to stuck in Bali at the moment.

It will be interesting to see after a year of as close to as uncrowded indo what the next 12 months will be like after restrictions are lifted and internationals can enter.?? Im saying it will be a rush of epic proportions to get to where ever you can to get your fix of pits, Bintangs, Nasi/Mie goreng, Massages, Sampoerna's, and whatever else draws you to the lustful land of extremes.... Let the locals enjoy some sort of reprieve from the masses of Euro kooks, Aussie bogan wedding parties stinking up the strip with their shitfull Bintang singlets, sunburn and dogshit tattoo's...... Bagus Ombak.....
