Those cutbacks can be learned in your living room - Connor did a lot with Wavekey with Brad Gerlach and one of the moves he teaches is that body rotation carve (practiced on land).

Free option is to watch this video and repeat in front of TV all winter. Then paddle out at Backdoor in November, say hi to the boyz, grab the best peaks and just do 'em like Connor. Easy.

Love his surfing n seems like he’s got a measure of humility not always common for young talented athletes with the world at their feet... seems to be adding to his big wave capabilities - but I wonder if can ever push for world titles as I’ve never seen him go to the air - seems a bit of a shame that’s necessary but that’s progress I think
