Geez, he goes okay eh? That “sit down” foiling at the end was surreal, so laid back, levitating in waves of consequence. Brilliant.
That is about the best forehand barrel riding display I’ve ever seen. It’s unfathomable the way in which he sticks those drops.
Love how the clip gradually ascends from playful, ‘I reckon I could surf that’ beginnings to psycho, ‘nah I’m fine floating 100m over here in the channel (whilst aqua turding)’ finale.
His brother would be so proud.

Oh no!! Someone changed the music track on the first half of the clip. I hope it wasn’t some copyright bully move, because that earlier track was a magical fit before being removed. Live and let live a bit!! There really is more to life that way!
I know how stoked I get when I get a few good waves I can’t imagine the level of stoked he gets.. and five times more waves and each one mind blowing too .. great clip ..

Not a fan of claims, but that arms crossed in the tube inside one of the heaviest waves going, which also happens to be down the road from his house, is pretty damn impressive. How could you not give him every wave he wants haha.
A note on the foiling as well... once up on the foil, in bigger waves, too much speed appears to limit how high they can get on the wall, and how deep. Perhaps a foil with articulation somewhere the surfer could manipulate, similar to a dynamic wing on a supercar, could help them slow it down that fraction to help avoid the nose diving into the bottom of the wave?

What an epic watch. Old mate rips!! So in-tune with that wave. 2-3 paddles and then casually into the beast. Loved watching his foot work. So good!!
