"Biggest Paddle Day in quite sometime as Jaws / Peahi goes off. Albee Layer, Billy Kemper, Torrey Meister, Tyler Larronde, Kai Paula, Paige Alms, Ian Walsh, Fransisco Porcella, Nathan Florence, Steve Roberson, Othmane Choufani and more take on massive waves.
After the passing of big wave surfer Marcio 'Mad Dog' Freire (one of the first guys that started paddling Jaws early on) a lot of surfers were surfing with his spirit in their minds, and everyone charged in honor of Marcio.
This was an insane day, Hope everyone enjoys the footage that I edited during my red eye flight to California!

Where’s Kai Lenny ? Injured ? It amazes me how quick some guys pop up after a wipeout while others can get pinned down for 2 waves.

Full maddog. Makes you want to paddle a little harder and heavier no matter your skill level and thats what it's all about. Some of the boards are are looking really dialled. Shine on because nothing else matters.

Amazing, some of the best conditions I've ever seen out there and some hell charging, Solid effort from Paige Alms, looked like a possibly makable barrel on that second one which would have been a super long one for Peahi, full credit for pulling in.
