The conditions cleaned up late yesterday and with the tide nearing low, Kirra began to fire.
Amongst the throng was Mick Fanning on a DHD x Simon Jones mashup. The board was a 6'8" twinny, a remake of the Stab Electric Acid Test collab between Darren Handley and Simon Jones from Morning of the Earth surfboards.
The duties were split up thus: Planshape, foil, and fins by Simon, rocker and rails by Darren. Today Mick called it his "go to Kirra board".

5 - 10 humans maximum what i saw. I was there around 5:30pm. The waves were below sea level monsters. Bodyboards getting the best ones.

Hahaha yeah mate! I took my step up out thinking i'd end up at Kirra, didnt even make it, snapper was less than 20 ppl out and thumping, couldn't believe it!
When I saw Mick's screamer to open the vid I was like "crikey the finishing ride must be epic!", as is usually the case.
They sure got me.
