Watch: JJF // Great Ocean Road
Filmed this time last year, John's John's latest short film is a masterclass in both surfing and filming. Though John no longer appears to work with Blake Kueny - the creative brains behind 'View From A Blue Moon' and 'Done' - he's picked up a similar talent in Erik Knutson.
Together they create an ode to the Great Ocean Road...sort of - some of the waves are a long way from the Garden State. At any rate, the waves, weather, and landscape also rise to the occasion, making for an exquisite li'l film.

Yeah there’s definitely west oz in this one, and they should have made that clear in the title. False advertising and annoying for those who know. Other than that gripe a beautiful film.
False advertising? What are they advertising? Probably don’t need to take it so seriously.
Just enjoy the surfing.

Call it journalistic ethics, but I wouldn’t say it’s one place and then use as much footage of another.
Could have just made up a non location specific title or made it broader.

“Southern Ocean Sojourn”
The less they reveal it’s WA the better. Margs is like little Brazil, and no. They are not pleasant to surf with.
Wondered why I didn't recognize a some of those waves. According to one verbose (now silent) SN boffin....Vicco waves don't barrel.
