Filmed three days back by Cahill Bell-Warren, this vid shows Ethan, Molly and co. limbering up at small, clean Winki.
Though the outlook ain't crash hot, some time at Winki may pay off as there's a good chance opening rounds may be held at small, clean Rincon - a wave not unlike Winki.
Then again, competitors may be sent out during a south-east swell at Bells - there's a few bouts of it in the forecast - and that direction has been known to flummox any visiting surfer.
Video filmed by Cahill Bell-Warren, who knows as much about the capricious nature of Bells as any surfer who's walked the steps.
