For this beach it was the latter as Easter Saturday provided a few tasty treats for intrepid egg hunters.

Great beachie, one of my favourite waves on earth and surfed it heaps through late 80's until 2000.
Drone footage though just doesn't do it for me, never does waves justice no matter where imho. Great for scenery, but surf, Na....
Would have been pumping today!

Loved the guy at 3:02.....no-wave shoulder hop - but you could feel his stoke to just have the spit in the face. Fun!

But bugger me - might be cold down here in Vicco - but you can keep your foul, two stroke rickshaw of the ocean jet ski parking lot out the back!! Welcome to the Goldy - buy a jet-ski. I can imagine the dawn solitude being shattered by a pack of frothing hoons all racing across from the mainland to be first out....

Is it just me but did anybody else notice how chilled everybody was? No snaking,no hassling,no drop-ins.....just everybody having a great time waiting their turn with the fun waves.

Easter Saturday was basically paddle out where ever you were and it was like this between this joint and Byron. Especially as the tide ran out in the arv. Had a version of this with 5 guys out that arv about an hour or so drive south.
