Coming in hotter than expected, Friday's swell provided Hawaii with the largest swell since January. Mark Healey dusted cobwebs at a favourite frontside reef.

Except Nate Floz if I'm not mistaken, thruster always these days.
Nothing to do with his fin set up but of course Nate gets the wave of the day out there...
Pretty sick seeing Healy and Co screaming as he paddles into that thing.
He's on the roll from hell!

There's a pretty good live stream from humungous Pipe right now that's pretty worthwhile. Guys out getting beatings and huge caves.

Unbelievable comeback of the year. Tom Lowe's first proper big wave session after getting severely injured at Chopes.

N'Flo's take on it. Surfing starts about 6:30:
Do these outer reef spots like Himalayas, Avalanches, etc. wash through to the shore, or do you end up in deep water eventually?
Himalayas washes all the way through. Avalanche backs off, so does Outside Logs though I think it sometimes rolls on through.
Thanks stu, nightmare fuel!
