I love how everyone in the boat is flapping their lips but Nate calmly and quietly goes about his business of getting ready and preparing for the session.
Love CB, such a great wave, not that I would ever attempt at that size.

Nate’s looked more ‘relaxing’ (if that could be said), standing tall and all that. With Soli’s being WOTD.
Soli really showed his skill set is up there with the top 0.001%. Jai’s one was unbelievable too.
I think I read somewhere that Billy Kemper called Soli into that wave
Nate's stand tall barrel at 17.25 and some other angles is one of THE moves of the century I reckon.
A subtle, respectful, artistic nod to the glory of the ocean in the eye of the cyclone on a perfect but super heavy wave.
.... and such a contrast to the survival stances of most other rides.
Worth watching multiple times as is the whole video.

Nathan’s so casual because the waves are so perfect!
I don’t think he’s casual because it’s perfect, I think he’s casual because of years of experience allows him to approach waves in a calm and playful manner, he’s just so enjoying what’s happening around him where most would be in awe but terrified , I wish Laurie Towner had been there , he’s always looked so relaxed and comfortable out there .
Obviously , he doesn’t always look so casual out at Jaws though.
