Watch: Bronson Meydi // Missing Pieces

First spotted as a spindly ten-year old surfing Lakey Peak, Bronson Meydi soon moved to Bali, taken under Rizal Tanjung's generous wing, where he went to school, fast-tracked his surfing, and got an inkling of what a pro surf career meant.

Nine years later, and following a semi-succesful junior career - coupla wins, more early round losses - Bronson is eyeing a future as a do-it-all freesurfer; a homegrown virtuoso adept in below sea level barrrels and similarly comfortable floating three feet over the lip.

The whole repertoire is on show here in Missing Pieces.

Such a talent! Met him a couple times, super humble and quiet kid, lets his surfing do the talking.

Would be so good to have 3 Indos on tour to feed off and support each other while traveling.
Seems their biggest struggle is being away from home while on tour.

An amazing surfer! If the world tour was held in these sorts of waves he would do very well. WCT waves require a different set of skills. :-(

Lad’s smooth. Like to see what his meaty carve game is like.

Great clip, he's as agile as a cat and as a brave too. I can see lower back injuries in some of those airs he lands in the flats but try telling the kids nowadays! Ha!
