Watch: Sunrise At Sunset Beach
No, it's not actually the sun rising, just third-rate wordplay about the first Sunset day of the Hawaiian season.
It was filmed October 14th, so very early in the piece, which the superstitious will say is an omen for a good season. An all-Hawaiian vid, no visitors there yet, with surfers such as Mananalu Chandler and his brother Legend, plus Zeke Lau, Josh Moniz, and Eli Hanneman, among many others.

Such a powerful wave, lots of people getting wacked by the lip. So much talent out there, you can see people reading it well, variety too, the young girl in a vest and a tiny board compared to the guy with the gun and flotation vest!

A thousand and one thanks for that one! Pretty nice edit of medium-ish north swell Sunset Beach, which can be a real treat. When it's not trying to kill you. Everybody needs to surf this thing, at least once in their life. It is a worthy destination, and it will show you things. Maybe not always exactly what you wanted to see, but it will definitely show you things.
