Aftrer a largely dire summer and autumn, absorbing long stretches of small waves, the Californian coast recently awoke from its slumber.

Videographer Tucker Wooding was on hand when the first NW swell of substance struck Mavericks on Tuesday. It wasn't huge but it was a welcome return for crew dusting off old equipment or trying out new.

Also great to see newly married Tucker Wooding team up with Curt from Powerlines to provide a mix of drone and channel angles.
