Watch: Juju The Surf Musical
Sometimes the lyrics are indecipherable as an Italian opera, but never mind, the themes in Juju The Surf Musical are universal.
The world has good and evil, add tempation, plus a devil and an angel, and you've got a bog standard opera.
Instersperse it with surf clips, plus surfers extending their repertoire from air rev to arabesque, add a macrodose of joie de vivre, and you've got something else entirely.
If you like your surfing delivered with four-to-the-floor rawk then I'll take a stab and say Juju The Surf Musical won't be your thing. For everyone else it's a freeform hoot straight outta left-field.

Went to the Melbourne showing last month and it was incredible!
5/5 most unique and refreshing piece of surf media released in 2024. Billabong should give her ALL of the media budget.

I saw this in Sydney when they toured it. Totally out of left field but good on Billabong for giving something different a crack. I laughed and enjoyed it.
