A few weeks ago we ran news about Tim Bonython's close call while filming a big wave contest in Spain.
The comp, called La Vaca Gigante - 'the giant cow' - had big waves that kept increasing in size throughout the day, reducing the exit options until there were no more.

A guy who owns a jetski chooses to take it out in big waves knowing the risks. One of the risks is losing / trashing his jetski. Should I contribute to the purchase of a new jet ski for this guy? *disclaimer - I have not watched much of the video, so might not know all of the facts.
that's a film of two halves, the first was kinda mesmerising. there's some ambitious building, editing and storytelling and I got sucked in. I reckon that's a pretty great memorial for the Red and a successful telling of one of the biggest events in TB's professional life. Some frickin weird and watchable rodeo rides in the surf too.
