Watch: Tim Bonython // Big Friday At Cape Solander

It's over a week ago now but Easter Friday was one that'll live long in the memories of East Coast surfers. A large contingent went to Cape Solander where they found the ledge barely ridable at the peak of the swell.

In fact, when the swell was at its biggest and the lineup was empty, Max McGuigan was towed into a few waves by a fishing boat. It was that kinda day.

Stay tuned to the end to see photographer Brendan Newton turn white as he gets washed across the rocks, and Lachie Rombout continue his inappropriate behaviour, stroking a 10-goot glider into hazardous curves.
