Mate of mine’s just getting into surfing (coupla years I spose). He can get to his feet pretty quick, trim OK and do a few little turns. He’s been riding an NSP eggy pop-out, 6’6†I think, but wants to get a bit more realistic.
I reckon he should get a fishy kind of thruster, maybe 6’3 or 6’4. Bit of buoyancy for now and OK performance as he gets better (I could borrow it off him too ;)). He’s about 5’11†tall and I suppose 70 or so kilos, pretty fit and agile. Looking to ride it in 2-4 foot surf, clean and junky.
Any bright ideas re dimensions?
I’d talk to some shapers too but he (my mate) is limited to the second hand market
(ker-ching)
Any feedback would be much appreciated
Thanks

gannet give clearwater a call. Steve del rosso is a good shaper and his prices are very reasonable.
Looking for some board advice
