...and back to the original question.....some say curing time is a load of bullshit, but your gonna at least need a couple of weeks after the hot coat, right ?
Mr P.....curing time is very important......especially if your bd is made in a colder climate.....needs to cure in warm temp until ya can't smell that styrene smell....one of the best ways ( if your s/bd maker does not have an oven).....put ya car in the sun , bd in a bd cover so there is no direct UV......and cure it...so it will take a lot longer to go brown.....and will also be a lot stronger and ya can surf within 48 hrs of being made!

I picked up a new board on Saturday which the shaper said was glassed Thursday.
I live in far Western Victoria so the weather is pretty cold.
How long would you recommend I wait to surf it? ( I do not get boards very often so would like this one to last as long as possible).
