Indo Gun
Hang on the 8"6 was magic too .first one but now I reckon a 2nd model will be even better . So semi magic but still room to get it next level .
I liked the flat deck and steep, high angled rail. Reminded me of a Brewer rail profile, or an Al Byrne.
Anyway pumped to finally get the process going.
Yep . To me that rail is obviously the go but you & others talk of it like its extreme . Because I boogyboard & alaia board , flat decks & parallel outlines & "vacuum rail" is a natural feature nothin unusual just an obvious advantageous characteristic .
I do? Thats only the first time I've seen it and felt it up today. Felt pretty good to me.
I loved the forward weighted outline and idea of lots of volume, thats what attracted me to the shape and I've known Webby for years and know how much he puts into his boards, especially his guns.
I'm not a big wave rider just an average Joe who loves riding 10-15ft surf when it's pumping and having the equipment that makes it fun to do.
I always keep in mind the advice from Derek Doerner: Training is the solution. Nutrition is the key. Equipment has to be the best you can get.
Yeah it is . I met u sheep yrs ago , frends of digger pete & also met u with jack in Hawaii . Finally made the link here
Looks like I'm helping contribute to camels retirement fund.. Just ordered a desert storm
All I get is the best boards no bonuses or consolations . Just the fact that webby shapes wat I ask is enough . That is a major benefit itself , we are talking next level design gun . Hope u guys feel the extra goodness of these boards like I do .

HI VERY NICE BOARDS IF POSSIBLE COULD YOU PROVIDE DIMESIONS FOR BOTH OF THESE BOARDS EG LENGTH /WIDTH/THICKNESS ETC DOWN IN SOUTH WEST OF VICTORIA THUS ARE EXTREMELY APPEALING FOR WAVES DOWN HERE REGARDS BOB

IMO you could not go past Kirk as he is the only shaper I know of in oz that actually surfs big waves.
Here is a link to a pic of my boards, triple stringers cause I got sick of broken boards putting a full stop on a classic surf.
Hi Bob, they are 7'6"x 20 3/8"x 3 1/16" and the other is 8'0"x 20 1/2"x 3 1/8" and yes they would go well in SW Victoria because that's where they live.

Go and see Greg Brown at Gash in Torquay bro...makes a fine big wave board and would probably know exactly what the waves are like where your planning to use it

Nice to know they are in this area Will be scanning the line up --to see if they travel in a far westly direction Most certainly very desirable --- good hunting

Retiring a Byrning Spear and want to know what other big wave board shapers you guys would recommend. In particular for Outside Corner.
Looking for something built heavy.
