Why don't fins float

Sick and tired of fins sinking to the bottom when crappy FCS systems fail. Well then why don't fins float, it would mean that when you break one out of your board you just wait a minute and the little fella that is part of a set floats up right next to ya. It would save a lot of hassle with going out to buy just 1 fin!

The only trouble is that usually you break the tabs so the fin is usually rooted anyway. Unless you loose plug and all then it might be a reasonable idea.

Float =light weight= break= buy another set.
FCS take up the idea=more $$$$$
