Qld water temps

Im coming up to QLD in 2 weeks time for a few days, ill be staying on the goldy and was wondering weather i will get away with boardies and a 2mm wettie top? i want to take minimal luggage with me as its only for 3 nights, but am i going to be too cold. its fucking freezing down here in nsw!

Plenty with what you've listed, unless we get a cold southerly.
In which case you'll be uncomforatble but not incapacitated.
You might like to bring a board, too:)

I would be more worried about the swell, our northern commrades have had a really shit spell of late. Any ideas when the swell drought will break?
