Sean Collins, R.I.P

One of the nicest guys and perhaps the single-most influential contributor to surfing in the last 20 years died of a heart attack on Boxing Day while playing tennis. Lucky for his, he didn't die with the recipe.

Tragic news indeed - this is a very sad day for surfing. I met Sean a few times and was very privileged to spend some time discussing forecasting ideas with him. A truly incredible person, who gave so much to surfing. He will be greatly missed.
