Whilst i did indirectly mention pro surfing i certainly did not glorify it. I did glorify a surfer whose ability cannot fail to impress. Great surfers have always and will always be recognised whether there is or ever was pro surfing. The fella surfs better than anyone at your local, probably better than anyone you have ever seen and definately surfs a fuckload better than you. Let go of your bitterness, allow yourself to enjoy the spectacle and be inspired.

i get inspiration elsewhere, 2 yrs ago i surfed with a 82 yr old at ballina me & him no one else out that was inspiring (the dude could hardly walk),

young kids ditching the boogie board for fiberglass that's inspiring... getting barreled with no one seeing it thats inspiring..... seeing some nobody get barrelled & the look of stoke on his/her face thats inspiring. seeing fathers take their kids surfing thats inspiring
People who eschew corporate brands their products & the latest models/products that's inspiring
