World's first artificial surfing lake!
The article headline is a little misleading - it's just the Wavegarden setup, which has obviously scored two contracts to build the first artificial wave setups in Britain.
Here's an article on Wavegarden from last June, where the local WG partner Andrew Ross announced that he was bringing the technology to Australia.

Still not for me though.. you can't replicate the periods of calm interspersed with carnage - with a machine!!
