7'10 Mini mal fin set up

I am Canadian and just got my first surfboard, its a 7'10 mini mal with a large fin box in the middle and two stabilizer fin inserts on the side. I have no idea about surfboards, should I surf it single fin, if so how big should the big fin be and if I have stabilizer fins can I still use the same centre fin. Please help, I am also just looking for some basic fins, nothing fancy because I'm Canadian and have no idea about surfing.

Please help.

Mate, if its your first board and you're new to surfing just grab the cheapest (or most readily available) fins you can find. Single or thruster probably doesn't really matter.

Just get out there and have fun!

I think I will just use it as a single fin, any advice on how big it should be, I am looking at an 8" fin on ebay, will that work ok ?
