long hike for us aussies, but has anyone been? and has anyone had any experience with the surf camps there? ive heard that the surf camps have a bit of a monopoly on the waves and its enforced by gangs, but this sounds a bit outrageous to me.

the coastline looks absolutely unbelievable from aerial shots and im extremely excited, any info would be appreciated.
