No, not clarkey welly. Haven't seen him down the club for ages, and I certainly don't know anyone who would describe the ugly bastard as a pretty boy!?
No, I'm talking about our lawn bowls capt, Dunkers. The most elite, deluxe and amassing athlete of the all!! Well, until the "incident" anyway. He always was a risk taker, going for shots that no one else would even think about trying, anyway one day he is playing the most extreme form of the game - barefoot bowls, and he kicks his toe on the way to the bar. It was pandemonium!! Everyone crowding around, "are you ok, dunkers??". So it now looks like he will lose his toe nail. Reckons he may never be able to play again.
But I thought old lifty might be able to help him with one his great motivational speeches and some kind of magic diet to try and get his toe nail to grow back quicker.
