No no it was actually a Firewire Cornice. 5'8" clear with a big punch mark on the deck.

Last Christmas i lost a friends board between Manly and Narrabeen Pittwater Rd . fixing a ding for free and using the tray on my hilux as a workbench i forgot the board was there and i have no sides or back on the tray . The board is red all over grommet board about 5'6" x 18 x 2" . forget the brand but not a well known company at all . Had to re-pay the grommet with a new board as he was only about 10 and he didnt even use it but i think he started to surf this year on my old Warner that i gave him . Talk about nice guys finishing last .

Digression alert - What about the fella at Lord Howe Island, found a board drifting in through the South Passage , a narrow reef pass, into the lagoon. Turned out to be a board belonging to someone he knew that had lost the board off Sydney. The board was returned to its owner.

Irish guy who drowned at Tallows board was never found.
