Advice on sunglasses

Hi,

I am thinking of getting sunglasses for morning/evening sessions when the beach faces the sun. Unfortunately my local surf shop does not sell any, so I can not test them before a buy.

Could you guys share your experience/advice on what might be suitable? I usually do not surf anything above 6ft.

Cheers!

seaspecs

$50 a pair.
they work really well, i've been using them for about six years.

Yep I also use sea specs. Got them from eBay cheaper I think.

They're good but don't get sunscreen on the lenses otherwise the coating on them for beading turns to shit. You should also get some hydrophobic solution from Oakley for when this happens.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I will have a look at them!

Cheers

Did you guys apply some anti-fogging layer?

I found that the seaspecs stayed permanently fogged up no matter what I did but the Silverfish 'whistler' and 's rat II' didn't fog up. The silverfish sunnies come with a nose piece that holds the glasses off your face a bit.

Water and air temp also plays a part in whether they fog up or not i think.

the seaspecs where the most comfortable though.

I always use the oakley hydrophobic solution on them to prevent fogging and it helps the water run off them
