Just throwing it out there for any surfers or friends of surfers currently lurking in Lombok.
DFAT issued a warning this morning of a possible security threat in Lombok. I'd be advising anyone to steer clear of Senggigi for a few days and to keep a lower profile than the average shitfaced Aussie surfer usually does around New Years in Kuta.
