"The couple’s joint assets totalled $57 million in June 2008 but by the following year “things were collapsing”, the court heard."

Zen. Mate. Sally? Que? Are you channelling the bloviating idiot whose name shall not be mentioned?
No, not at all Mr. Whaaaat, I just remember a long time ago you yearned to meet Sally Fitz or a woman of her ilk. I was hoping she'd find you (or vice versa)
Ah! Yes! It all comes back to me now. Yes, indeed, Sally Fitz and yours truly are now an official* item.
* in the sense of an official restraining order.
Yes whaaat, I read that with just a tincture of schadenfreude that I couldn't stop.
Yeah, what a fark-up, the joint assets totalling $57M at June 2008 was just as likely $58m in debt as well. There are a hell of a lot of rich people who have huge assets and much bigger debt, and the wall they put up is for the assets to be with the soon to be divorced wife and the debts with the limited liability company.
It's a wicked game they play. I think some gaol time might help me to believe this wasn't all just part of a deal constructed between the wife and the former Billabong CEO.
I'm sure at one time on this illustrious site there were at least a few topics which dealt with Mr Perrin in particular and the state of Billabong in general, but I'm buggered if I can find 'em now. Mebbe the Idiot Wabbit has hidden them. Anyhoo, here's the latest episode in this sorry saga.
