Overland indo trip

So I’m heading to indo for a few months beginning in March and ending whenever I run out of money. Probably going to start in Bali, then want to do Lombok, Sumbawa, Sumatra and Java, possible Roti as well. I am going to be on a fairly tight budget so boat trips aren’t really an option, nor are surf resorts or camps. Done a bit of Bali and g-land before and have a decent grasp on Bahasa. Will probably be getting around on a scooter or bike and ferry’s most of the time. Just looking for some good, cheap places to stay near good waves in any of these areas or others around this time frame! I’m happy to rough it and go exploring as well! Any tips will be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance!
