Hi Team,
I couldn’t find a appropiate thread for this so thought I’d ask the following in a semi related forum:
Assuming the new gen of wave pools (kelly’s, Texas etc) are fresh water (I’m probably wrong already), would this affect the waves themselves? or how they are/feel to surf as opposed to salt water?

Kellys pool is freshwater, he reckons no difference between salt & fresh however the boaties on swellnet call bulldust.

Also noticed that it has been confirmed The Olympics Will Be Held In The Ocean in Japan., havent seen any talk about this yet on SN.
