'New comment' button on articles
Just click on the ‘New Comments’ button below the article heading/date:

You'll then be taken to the first 'new' comment.
To the right of this is a ‘next’ button, which takes to you to the next one, and so on.

Hope you find it useful!
unreal certainly save a lot of scrolling looking for last comment.
Blowin - not yet, but we'll see what we can do (forums are also getting a tech overhaul, and this would be a welcome addition). Though at the moment forum posts are all in a singular timeline (which we are looking to changem to be more like articles), so it's easy to scroll to the bottom and work your way to the top.
Try using the new button on the 'climage change' article - scrolls to the end of the earth and back
Yeah , mate.
Just found it on the Sunshine Coast shit pipe story.
Well done. You’re efforts are appreciated !
If I don't say so myself, I'm very much diggin' the new comment button.
In fact, I'm now thinking of how we can tweak it a little more. Perhaps a few options:
"Show me all New Comments that lack hyperbole".
"Show me all New Comments that agree with my idealogical stance".
Any other suggestions?
A "next thread" button would be nice too, so you can either skip to each comment, or skip whole threads.
Just like to reiterate how appreciated the “New comment “ function is. It takes all the drama out of enjoying the comments.
Well done , Jono.
Glad you like it Blowin, we are finding it very handy too. I did joke with the other guys that you would probably use it more than the Swellnet team.
We've got a small, new feature to announce.
For logged in users (both subscribers and non-subscribers), when you visit an article, you can now scroll straight to all of the 'new' comments that have been posted since your last visit. This makes it easier to find 'em, because they're not always found at the bottom of the comment section (someone may reply to an individual comment further up).
